
Ms. Hutchison's class visited the Hall of Justice today and learned about the Michigan court system.







Ms. Hutchison and Mr. Meyer's 5th grade classes went on a tour of our Capitol today! The students also were able to explore Michigan's Historical Museum.







ECEC students earned a school wide celebration! This momentous achievement was celebrated on Mickey Mouse's 96th birthday with a pizza party. Students and staff alike enjoyed a fun filled luncheon with Mickey ears and Disney music. Congratulations to all ECEC students and thank you to our nutrition staff for a fun filled party!







Our Employee Spotlight shines on Kelsey Jones this week! Kelsey is our middle school special education teacher and she always goes the extra mile for students and staff!


Wednesday morning at the ECEC was spent in celebration of our school family. Children have been working hard and their efforts will be rewarded next week with a school wide pizza party! Congratulations to our new Pups of the Pack and to all of our sedulous students!

Our first middle school dance will be held November 22nd, 2:30-4:30pm. Tickets will be on sale during lunch this Thursday and Friday.


Kindergarten students participated in classroom "Cookie Elections" on Tuesday, November 5th for election day. It was a great experience for students to learn the concept of elections, decision making and critical thinking, majority rule, and community participation. The classes made voter ID cards, posters to promote their vote, and cast their vote on a ballot into the ballot box. In the end OREOS were the winning cookie for all classes! We ended the activity with a yummy Oreo treat!"







IT'S ELECTION DAY! Ms. Starr's 4th grade class voted on Fiction vs. Non-fiction.










Mrs. Green’s 1st grade and Mr. Phillip’s 5th grade meet up for a Halloween 🎃 Challenge. They had great fun making ‘Room on the Broom’ for all the pumpkins they could hold. What great team buddies they are.

Wolf Den Child Care is the after school care program for children at the ECEC. Our Wolf Den friends are always having fun and doing crafts. Here they are with their painted pumpkins!


Our Employee Spotlight this week is our Mrs. Tomlinson! She has a passion for student learning and engagement each and everyday!


7th graders enjoyed this lab activity of Strawberry DNA extraction from their cell activity unit!








Our teachers love Fridays, especially because the happy snack cart comes around! Happy Friday everyone!


Last Friday 7th graders had their first Books & Blankets Day of the year! Pajamas, snacks, and reading - no better way to spend a half day!











Mrs. Green’s 1st grade and Mr. Phillip’s 5th grade joined as buddies this school year. Together they played a matching game and asked and answered questions to get to know one another. Both classes enjoyed the meet up and can’t wait to work together again.
