5th Grade and 1st Grade buddies planted a London Plane and Swamp Oak Tree today at McClintock Park for Arbor Day. This was an opportunity through a grant awarded to the City of Laingsburg by the DNR. It was great to see the students working together, learning about the importance of trees and their role in the environment. Their enthusiasm and teamwork made the event a memorable celebration of nature, as they dug holes and planted the trees in the park.

Yesterday, our 7th grade class had the opportunity to attend the Michigan Construction Career Day event. Our students participated in hands-on activities, operating and experiencing construction tools, machines, and heavy equipment. It was a great experience for them to interact with construction professionals within the field!
