🚑❤️ HOSA CPR Day at Laingsburg High School ❤️🚑
Today was an incredible day at Laingsburg High School as 195 students participated in our HOSA CPR Day, learning life-saving skills that could one day help save a life.
A huge THANK YOU to Choice Realty for their generous donation that helped fund this event and make hands-on CPR training possible for so many students.
We are also incredibly grateful to Justin Conklin from Heartsaving Education for leading the training and sharing his expertise.
A special thank you to Coach Izzo and Coach Garland for sharing an inspiring message with our students about leadership, service, and stepping up in moments that matter. Your words helped reinforce the importance of being prepared to help others.
And of course, this event would not have been possible without the over a dozen amazing community volunteers who donated their time to help our students practice and learn these critical skills.
Because of your support, nearly 200 students are now better prepared to respond in an emergency and help save lives. 💪❤️

@Red Thunder Robotics had a historic weekend, achieving a major milestone for our robotics program!
For the first time in team history, Red Thunder Robotics was seeded #1 after qualification matches and captained the #1 alliance to become Event Champions, partnering with FRC Team 2337 (Grand Blanc) and FRC Team 5234 (Ovid-Elsie).
The team was also honored with the prestigious FIRST Impact Award — recognizing their dedication to inspiring others and growing STEM in their community. This marks the second time in three seasons that they have earned this award.
These achievements reflect the countless hours our students dedicate to designing, building, programming, and refining their robot, as well as their commitment to making a positive impact beyond the competition field.
Congratulations to the entire Red Thunder Robotics team on this historic accomplishment! ⚡

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to AgroLiquid for their generous donation to support Laingsburg Elementary’s new STEM program!
Because of this donation, our students will soon have access to a classroom greenhouse, creating exciting opportunities for hands-on learning. Elementary students will be able to explore how plants grow, learn about food production, and investigate real-world science concepts right in their classroom.
This innovative learning space will help spark curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and connect students to the science behind agriculture and sustainability.
We are incredibly grateful for community partners like AgroLiquid who invest in the future of our students and help bring meaningful STEM experiences to life!

Congratulations to our JV High School State Powerlifters, Kali and Addy Spade! They competed in powerlifting with Laingsburg and ended up placing 2nd and 3rd in the state!

Students participated in role-plays, guided practice, and discussion to develop empathy, build skills for reducing cruelty amongst peers, and learn what it looked and felt like to an empowered bystanders to proactively respond to hurtful behavior when they see it.
The workshop was transformational and incredibly empowering for many students. 5th Grade would like to thank PALS for providing the funding for this workshop and making this experience possible!

Before attending the trip, students participated in a financial literacy curriculum that gave them the background knowledge and preparation for the trip.
At JA BizTown, all 79 5th graders carried out their duties in a real-world job, develop and practice personal finance skills, and experience being a productive citizen in JA Biz Town.
This was the inaugural trip for 5th grade to attend JA BizTown and the 5th grade teachers want to thank LEAF for providing the grant monies to make this amazing experience possible!
