
The students at the ECEC had a wonderful visit from Wolfpack Robotics last week. The High School and Middle School Robotics team not only shared a story in lieu of March is reading month, they also demonstrated their robots with each classroom. Robotics students then helped our Kindergarten and Young Fives students make and launch bunny helicopters ! A great time was had by all!

This week the 8th-grade Earth Science students visited FRIB and Abrams Planetarium at MSU. They learned more about nuclear science, how elements are created in stars, and how to find the constellations in the night sky.








As part of March is reading month, today we had Kenneth Kraegel come visit our K-5 students. Mr. Kraegel shared his amazing books that he has both authored and illustrated!

Students in Mrs. Rhine’s classroom had a “Starbooks” Book Tasting Party where students got to Sip Taste and Read new types of genres. Students rotated through four different genre stations and filled out menus with their reflections on the books they were sampling. It was quite the book buffet!







📚🌟 What an incredible day at our school! To celebrate March is Reading Month, Ms. Hutchison’s 5th graders are teaming up with their 1st grade buddies in Mrs. Elliott’s class to read fun chapter books together. It’s heartwarming to see the older kids inspire the younger ones to embrace the joy of reading! A huge thank you to PALS for funding the grant that made this initiative possible. And the best part? They’ll be meeting every week throughout March to continue this exciting journey! This week's Employee Spotlight is on, Kristen Johnson. She is our middle school counselor and we are so thankful to have her on our team!


The elementary Chess Club has been in full swing and full of checkmates and we couldn't be more excited! The 4th and 5th graders have been sharpening their skills, learning new strategies, and enjoying friendly matches every week. It's wonderful to see the camaraderie and sportsmanship among our players. A big thank you to LEAF for funding the chess club and making this possible for our budding chess enthusiasts!

Wolfie and the Highschool Band kicked off March's Reading Month by parading through classrooms getting the students excited about reading.







Congratulations to our Snowman Contest Winners in Ms. Morgan and Mrs. Sherry's Preschool room! They graciously decided to invite Mrs. Bohrer's Kindergartener's down to enjoy the Hot Cocoa with them because it was such a tight competition! All of our students did such an amazing job, we can't wait for the next snow fall!
