
STEAM night was a success at the LES! Not only did families enjoy themselves on the Mileage Club track, they also had fun in the Glow Art Room, and Slime Science Room! A big thank you to our Specials Teachers for organizing this event, our wonderful volunteers, and to all the families who joined us!

Our Young Fives friends are the newest elves at Santa’s Workshop! The elves had to get a letter from the North Pole Mail Center, fill out a toy request form, locate the toy in the workshop, and wrap it to be put on Santa’s sleigh!











Ms. Hutchison's 5th graders and Ms. Starr's 4th graders participated in a book tasting last week! They got to "taste" a variety of different reading genres as they explored poetry, mystery, fantasy, historical fiction, and non-fiction books at the fancy book tasting restaurant. Thank you to Mrs. Hodges for helping set up the experience in the library!

5th graders did a 'Reverse Sneak Peek' on Friday. These kids were in 1st grade when COVID hit. They looked through a slideshow of what they did in first grade and took pictures with their 1st grade teacher!

Mrs. Stevens' 4th grade Wax Museum! Students researched a famous person in history to portray as wax figures. Each student presented a short speech to parents and students.






5th grade enjoyed a picnic at the park while celebrating their last house awards ceremony.







Mrs. Green’s 1st grade class read biographies and researched Benjamin Franklin. They then wrote their own research project about what invention from Benjamin Franklin they found most interesting. Well done, writers!










Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan Agent Charitable Fund (ACF) has selected the Laingsburg Community School District to receive a $1,000 Feeding the Future Grant. Funds will be used to provide much needed meal supplements to families in our community.
