LAINGSBURG -- Look at the photos above. The different incarnations of Laingsburg High School through the decades. Take a walk back through time.
The memories are priceless. Iconic.
Relive those memories, as the Laingsburg All-School Reunion, presented by the Laingsburg Alumni Legacy Association, is scheduled to return during this year’s Homecoming weekend. Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 4, at the ZCBJ Hall in Owosso.
Sunday, October 4, 2026 is significant for a couple of reasons:
• That day is the final day of Homecoming Weekend, which has became a giant draw for alumni visiting the community. The annual Homecoming Golf Outing is the largest day of the calendar year at Pine Hills GC, generating upwards of 40 four-player teams.
• Sunday, October 4, 2026 gave the organizing committee, the Laingsburg Alumni Legacy Association, plenty of time to get plans finalized. The ‘Z’ Hall in Owosso is booked, known for it’s catering services and outstanding hospitality.
The 5-year date, which has always revolved around a “decade year” (1970-1975-1980-1985-1990, etc.) was interrupted by Covid-19 in 2020. The pandemic forced the date back a year to 2021. The last All-School Reunion was held in August, 2021 in the cafetorium at LHS, with a relatively sparse turnout.
With everything back to normal, organizers are hoping to turn things around this October.
