At Laingsburg Middle School, we recognize that the middle years are a critical bridge between elementary school and high school—a time when students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Serving approximately 270 students in grades six through eight, our school offers a personalized, small-school environment where every student is supported and challenged to achieve their best.
We are proud to maintain high academic standards, with student achievement consistently exceeding county, state, and national averages on assessments such as the PSAT, M-STEP, and county-wide measures. Alongside strong academics, more than one-third of our students participate in our outstanding band program, reflecting our commitment to a well-rounded education.
Our classrooms are supported by a robust and ever-evolving technology initiative. With our one-to-one student device program, students are equipped with the tools they need to learn, collaborate, and thrive in a digital world.
Learning at Laingsburg Middle School extends far beyond the classroom. Students have opportunities to participate in athletics such as basketball, volleyball, cross-country, and track, as well as extracurriculars like robotics and band. These experiences help students build teamwork, leadership, and time-management skills.
We also take pride in our unique programs and traditions, including the Science Fair, the Art Fair, the 8th Grade Washington DC Trip, Reality Store Day, and a variety of engaging activity nights that enrich the middle school experience.
Family involvement is an essential part of our success. The Parent Association for Laingsburg Schools (PALS) provides meaningful opportunities for parents to stay connected and support student activities, helping to strengthen our school community.
At Laingsburg Middle School, we are dedicated to preparing students for success in high school and beyond!
